Welcome to Sub Par Productions.

Here at Sub Par we produce great stories (we wish) with sub par equipment (we know).

Lighting can be horrible, image quality may not be much. Sound? Does ‘built in microphone’ tell you something?

If you find the image too dark, if you hear the zoom motor of a beloved, antique DV camcorder, a rattling truck or a police siren which has nothing to do with the story - they just happened to drive by while we were shooting.

Don’t tell us. We’ll know.

However,

• if you get lost while you watch,
• if you wonder what it’s all about,
• yes - if you even reach once for your bag of onion flavored potato chips,
• if you are distracted in any way whatsoever -

then by all means, find a way to contact us and tell us where it happened.

That’s because story is everything.

The story is what Sub Par is after.

If the story sucks, everything sucks.

If the story works, nothing else matters.
